Song of the Week: Geographer- Kites

This will be the first of many, thousands or maybe even millions, songs of the week. This week's featured song comes from Geographer, a San Francisco electro-pop indie band. Their song, Kites, has a seasoned and unique sound of electronic beats, a synthesizer, and cello. In this song the trio easily tackles the overwhelmingly difficult task of creating the perfect mix of electronic music, vocals, and lyrics. The lyrics describe front man, Mike Deni's, experience of multiple family deaths and the difficulties of dealing with and overcoming the grief.
